Skulls & Sugar Skulls Craftaid

Embossing sheet for transferring patterns to vegetable tanned leather - Skulls (Day of The Dead).

Assorted skull and sugar skull (Day of the Dead - Dia de Muertos) motifs. - cover sheet gives an illustration for colouring and they also work well as a more subtle emboss.

Use this embossing sheet to easily transfer artwork onto leather for tooling, stamping or pyrography or use as a simple light embossing plate. 

Directions for Use:

Dampen the leather and lay the craftaid face down, with the raised areas touching the leather, work over the acrylic sheet with a bone folder or ballpoint stylus, to create a rubbing action, making sure you cover all the design area. Carefully lift away and your design will be imprinted into the leather.

Use to emboss designs or to create an outline ready for carving and adding tooling details.
