Natural vegetable tanned kangaroo leather available in three weight categories, lightweight, medium and heavyweight. Kangaroo hide is very strong and durable and is ideal for making jesses and anklets for falconry as well as hoods. Sizing is approximate, generally lightweight hides are around 5.0sf.
It is also an excellent leather for whip making and small leather accessories such as wallets and card cases. I t can be dyed or stained and lightly embossed.
We also sell 'grease' that can be applied to the leather jesses and anklets to preserve, soften and protect - 2199-00 Aussie Leather Conditioner and IDS-KCL Ko-Cho-Line.
